Dr. K. Prakash is a Senior Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist with over 16 years of experience in advanced gastrointestinal surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures, including bariatric surgery, hernia repair, colorectal surgery, and complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeries. A member of the first batch of MCh Surgical Gastroenterology in Kerala, Dr. Prakash is recognized for introducing advanced laparoscopic techniques in the region and for his patient-focused, evidence-based approach to surgical care.
